Master clock D201PQ/MAX

D201PQ / MAX - wall time control panel (main clock) is used to control a greater number of secondary hands and digital clocks in unified time systems at stations, offices, schools, hotels, airports, shopping centers, companies, manufacturing operations, etc. It is fully backed up to ensure continuous operation.

BASIC DIVISION OF THE MASTER CLOCK:
The control panels of the D201 type series are manufactured in the following versions:
  • standard - STD, with player - MP3, backup - UPS,
  • for large single time systems - MAX in rack version - RQ, and in wall version - PQ
  • all master clocks are equipped with an input for a GPS receiver and a C232 interface for connection to a PC
  • master clocks can be equipped with 485 interface and also synchronization from the slave line or NTP server.
FEATURES - D201PQ / MAX:
  • Wall control panel with four secondary slave lines suitable for large time systems. the slave line can use the minute impulse mode with the ML01 protocol - or even more preferably the second impulse mode with the SL02 protocol (time and date are transmitted every minute). The mode can be selected on the slave line PCB board by a jumper.
  • Active backup, i. during an blackout, the controlled secondary analog clocks works. When the battery is running low, the master clock automatically power off. However, the master clock internal time is active and as soon as the power supply is restored, the slave analog clocks will moves to the correct time in accelerated mode.
  • Metal case for wall mounting. Dimensions: 323 x 386 x 70mm.
  • Backup RTC (Real Time Clock) time base circuit works during power off till battery low (min. 5 days).
  • GPS receiver input. If use a GPS receiver, which will ensure consistently high accuracy. A suitable receiver is the D910SQ with a magnetic mount or the D610PQ in the shape of a mushroom, including a holder.
  • COM232 interface for connection to PC. USB virtual com converters can also be used.
  • In addition to basic synchronization, it is possible to add use synchronization from serial line COM485. This interface is bidirectional, i. allows the master clock to send the time received from GPS to slave clocks or other master clocks, or receiving time from the other master clock.
  • The time can also be synchronized via a slave line (minute or second) or from NTP servers, the choice is possible via Additional synchronization.
  • The master clock can be equiped with a DHF wireless system by the D216 converter.
  • Successor to D101
MINIMUM CONFIGURATION - D201PQ / MAX:
  • Four slave polarized impulse 24VDC lines, optional minute or seconds impulse mode, can be choose different for each line
  • Wall mounting case
  • Power supply 60W, battery backup 24V / 2.2Ah
CLOCK CONFIGURATOR OPTIONS - D201PQ/MAX:
The configurator allows modification of the minimum equipment according to customer requirements. This chapter describes all the options

COM485 INTERFACE:
  • NO - The interface is not used, the corresponding connector is not fitted
  • YES - The 485 interface is used. It enables the synchronization of connected devices (digital clocks, exact time control panels) according to the control panel time or, conversely, it allows to take over the time from the superior device to the control panel.
ADDITIONAL SYNCHRONIZATION:
  • NONE - Input not used, connector not installed.
  • SUB-LINE INPUT - The sub-line input is used. It allows you to synchronize the control panel from any line from the superior SONTEK control panel. This allows cascade control of the exchanges without the need to build a line to the master exchange. All you have to do is connect to the nearest sub-line. The slave can use minute or second mode, the control panel detects it automatically.
  • NTP - time is taken from two selected NTP servers, they can be public or own server.
THERMOMETER INPUT:
  • NO - The input is not used, the connector is not fitted.
  • YES - The thermometer input allows the control panel to connect a temperature sensor (eg D111SQ). The measured temperature can then be distributed via a C485 or even a second polarized line to the secondary digital clock.
LAN MODULE:
  • NO - The module is not used, the connector is not fitted.
  • YES - The module enables remote monitoring via LAN. In conjunction with the MonTIME program, it allows easy setting of relay switching in the form of a clear table, as well as all other tasks.
